Rim of the World can bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bloomington Bruins, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Fighting Scots have posted since March 5, 2024.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Rim of the World who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-20, 27-29, 25-21, 22-25, 15-10.

The victory got Rim of the World back to even at 1-1. As for Bloomington, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-7.

Coming up, Rim of the World will head out on the road to face off against San Gorgonio at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Rim of the World is facing San Gorgonio at the right time seeing as San Gorgonio is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. Bloomington will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rim of the World at 4:00 p.m. on March 31st.
