Bloomington South barely beat Martinsville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Artesians on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won three matches in a row.

Bloomington South's got stronger as the match went on, holding Martinsville to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-22, 25-9.

Quinn Reynolds paced Bloomington South's offense, picking up 13 kills. Reynolds got some help from Charlie Monroe and her 22 assists. Monroe also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Adriene Shaevitz, each putting up three.

Bloomington South's victory bumped their record up to 23-5. As for Martinsville, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-17.

Bloomington South has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Trinity Lutheran on the 4th. As for Martinsville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Mooresville on the 7th.
