Basketball Game Recap: Parkview Vikings vs. Carl Junction Bulldogs

The Parkview Vikings had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 37-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Carl Junction. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Parkview in their matchups with Carl Junction: they've now lost three in a row.

Loss or not, Parkview got some senior leadership from Austin Hall who scored 23 points and Tara Masten who scored 5 points.

Parkview's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Carl Junction, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Parkview won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Neosho at 6:30 p.m. on November 29th. As for Carl Junction, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Webb City at 5:30 p.m.
