North Fremont has gone 6-1 against Malad recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The North Fremont Huskies will take on the Malad Dragons at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

North Fremont is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They took down Wendell 48-31.

Meanwhile, Malad waltzed into their matchup last Wednesday with 21 straight wins... but they left with 22. They came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 54-42. Given the Dragons' advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Cardinals are ranked 48th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory got North Fremont back to even at 13-13. As for Malad, their win bumped their record up to 22-1.

North Fremont came out on top in a nail-biter against Malad when the teams last played back in December of 2023, sneaking past 44-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Fremont since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
