Soccer Recap: Stuyvesant Comes Up Short

Stuyvesant was the 5-2 winner over Beacon when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Peglegs fell 2-0 to the Blue Demons on Monday. Stuyvesant have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Stuyvesant's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Beacon, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Stuyvesant will face off against rival Martin Luther King Jr Educational Campus at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Beacon is set to challenge their familiar foe Hunter College at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
