Basketball Recap: Lindsay Extends Winning Streak to Six

Lindsay extended their winning streak to six on Tuesday, bumping them up to 6-0. They came out on top against the Marlow Outlaws by a score of 54-41. The game was the first time the Leopards have beaten the Outlaws on their court since March 4, 2023.

Lindsay's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Creed Taylor, who went 6-for-14 to rack up 21 points. Taylor's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Hunter Russell was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.

Lindsay was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Marlow only racked up three.

Having lost for the first time this season, Marlow fell to 3-1. The loss was their first of the season.

When it comes to explaining why Marlow lost, don't look at Beckham Bishop. Despite the final result, he posted 17 points in addition to five boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Thomas Williams, who earned three points and five rebounds.

Looking ahead, Lindsay will be home for the holidays to greet Clinton at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Marlow, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 35-30 defeat against Chickasha on the 18th.
