The Woodlands had already won 15 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.6 runs) and they went ahead and made it 16 on Friday. They walked away with an 8-3 win over the Oak Ridge War Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-8 on Tuesday.

The Woodlands saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Barry-Smith, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Those two RBI gave Barry-Smith a new career-high.

The Woodlands pushed their record up to 27-4-1 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Oak Ridge, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-11-2.

As of now, neither The Woodlands nor the War Eagles have any future games scheduled.
