Recap: Roanoke Valley Christian EAGLES vs. Dayspring Christian Academy Lions

They walked away with a 57-48 victory over Dayspring Christian Academy. That's another feather in the cap for Roanoke Valley Christian, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Roanoke Valley Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Logan Gutierrez out in front who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Gutierrez continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremy Chou, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Roanoke Valley Christian pushed their record up to 10-2 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.
Roanoke Valley Christian will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Temple Christian at 7:00 p.m. Temple Christian has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 11. Dayspring Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Christian Heritage Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
