After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Williamsville, Monticello was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Heyworth Hornets 65-42. That 23 point margin sets a new team best for the Sages this season.

Monticello pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Heyworth, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-3 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monticello will take on Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
