Grove Christian School's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jacob Garrison, who scored 17 points along with 6 assists and 3 steals, and Owen Collawn who scored 14 points along with 9 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Harrison Hazelgrove, who scored 4 points.
Hampton Christian Academy was led to victory by Bryce Harris and Sean O'Connor. Harris scored 19 points along with 9 assists and 4 steals, while O'Connor scored 30 points along with 6 assists and 5 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which O'Connor has scored at least 25% of Hampton Christian Academy's points. Asher Joyce was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Grove Christian School's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Hampton Christian Academy, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
