Baseball Recap: Liberty Magnet Takes a Loss

Liberty Magnet fell victim to Catholic and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bears, falling 15-0. That makes it the first time this season the Patriots have let down their home crowd.

This is the second loss in a row for Liberty Magnet and nudges their season record down to 11-9. As for Catholic, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Liberty Magnet will square off against rival Zachary at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Catholic is set to challenge their familiar foe Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Catholic 2.2, Central 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
