Soccer Game Preview: Flatirons Academy vs. Union Colony Prep

The Flatirons Academy Bison will venture away from home to challenge the Union Colony Prep Timberwolves at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Flatirons Academy will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Union Colony Prep better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Flatirons Academy's game on Saturday is any indication, that's when Flatirons Academy really gets things going. The Bison were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Windsor Charter Academy. Considering Flatirons Academy have won ten contests by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Windsor Charter Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Audrey Kingery, Ruby Noteboom, and Charlotte Barron.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in March, Union Colony Prep was forced to settle for a draw on Monday. They and Twin Peaks Classical Academy finished up their match with a 2-2 draw.

Union Colony Prep's draw makes their record 1-7-3 this season. As for Flatirons Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.

Flatirons Academy got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 against Union Colony Prep by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bison since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
