Basketball Game Preview: Osmond Tigers vs. Sandhills/Thedford Knights

The Osmond Tigers will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Sandhills/Thedford Knights at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Thursday, Osmond lost to Bloomfield at home by a 68-51 margin. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Osmond's loss came about despite a quality game from Sophie Gansebom, who posted 15 points. Charley Aschoff was another key player, putting up eight points.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Sandhills/Thedford's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 47-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sumner-Eddyville-Miller.

Sandhills/Thedford's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Osmond, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
