Proctor had won three straight on the road, but on Friday they bumped up to 9-6 to make it four. They had just enough and edged out the Rush City Tigers 4-2. For the Rails, this counts as revenge for the 5-2 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2025.

As for Rush City, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 16-5 record. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss they have suffered since May 29, 2025.

For Rush City's part, Kendal Pillar spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on four hits and racked up 15 Ks. Pillar has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 18 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Lola Mold was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Addy Antonson, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Proctor has already played their next matchup, a 10-6 defeat against PACT Charter on the 16th. As for Rush City, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 21-2 victory against Pine City on the 19th.
