Soccer Recap: Clinton's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

Clinton's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Madison Central Jaguars by a score of 1-0. The Arrows' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Clinton was without their leading scorer, Kayla Jones, in Thursday's match. With Jones sitting this one out, Emily Fortenberry got some extra time on the pitch (80 vs. her season average of 54.4).

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4-1. As for Madison Central, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2-2.
