Basketball Recap: Hauser Jets vs. Indian Creek Braves
After flying high against the Southwestern Spartans last Thursday, the Hauser Jets came back down to earth. Hauser fell 59-51 to the Braves on Saturday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hauser in their matchups with the Braves: they've now lost three in a row.
Indian Creek's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trent Volz, who scored 11 points along with six assists and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Lowhorn, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
Hauser's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Indian Creek, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.
Hauser will head out on the road to challenge the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Indian Creek, they will be playing at home against the at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Purdue Poly Englewood is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
