Volleyball Recap: Brazosport Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Brazosport Christian was the 3-2 winner over Angleton Christian when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Brazosport Christian actually scored more points across those five sets (95-91), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 14-25, 12-25, 25-20, 15-11.

Bo Coburn paced Brazosport Christian's offense, picking up 21 kills. Coburn got some help from Kaylie Hopkins and her 33 assists. Jillian Garrett controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Brazosport Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4-3. As for Angleton Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Brazosport Christian will host CHSA HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Angleton Christian, they will head out to challenge Family Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
