The Naperville North Huskies lost to the DeKalb Barbs back in December of 2023, but the Naperville North Huskies didn't allow the DeKalb Barbs the same satisfaction on Monday. Naperville North enjoyed a cozy 53-36 victory over DeKalb.
Naperville North's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kendall Johnson, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds. Ava Podkasik was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Naperville North's victory bumped their record up to 11-13. As for DeKalb, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Naperville North won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Downers Grove North at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Downers Grove North is coming into the game hot, having won their last eight games. As for DeKalb, they will be playing at home against Sycamore at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
