Volleyball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

After flying high against Escambia last Tuesday, Central came back down to earth. The Jaguars fell 3-1 to the Milton Panthers on Tuesday. The Jaguars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Central started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-16, 25-21, 25-8.

Emma Posey paced Central's offense, picking up seven kills. Posey really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 12.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Milton, their victory bumped their record up to 6-11.

Central has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Laurel Hill on the 2nd. As for Milton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Pace on the 2nd.
