Softball Recap: Neshoba Central's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Neshoba Central had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They beat the Center Hill Mustangs on Thursday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 13-5. The Rockets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matches by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Neshoba Central's sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-7. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Center Hill, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-16.

Neshoba Central will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Mustangs: the pair will be back at it again later today.
