The Gaffney Indians will take on the Providence Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Gaffney couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Gray Collegiate Academy by a score of 3-2. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Gaffney couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Providence kept a clean sheet against Ben Lippen on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Falcons and snuck past 1-0. The win was just what Providence needed coming off of a 5-0 loss in their prior contest.
