Volleyball Recap: Farmersville's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

It was a good run, but Farmersville unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Hereford Whitefaces by a score of 2-1. The Farmers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Whitefaces from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

The 2-1 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Farmersville lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 26-24, 25-23.

Hereford's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaydence Ramirez, who had eight digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Kaylee Alonzo, who had ten digs.

Farmersville's loss dropped their record down to 13-2. As for Hereford, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8.

Coincidentally, Farmersville and Hereford will both be playing Poteet the next time they take the court. The Whitefaces will head out to face the Pirates at 11:45 a.m. on Friday, while the Farmers will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
