Kimball skates past Hillcrest with ease

In what's become a running theme this season, the Kimball Knights gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They breezed by Hillcrest at home to the tune of 83-54. The victory was familiar territory for Kimball who now have six in a row.

Kimball got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Marri Wickware out in front who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. Wickware has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Jaylon Dean-vines was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with six rebounds and two steals.

Kimball is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season. As for Hillcrest, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.

Kimball will head out on the road to take on Molina at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Molina will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1224th, while Kimball is ranked 251st). As for Hillcrest, they will be playing in front of their home fans against White at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant forwards against one another: John Price and Jed-ethan Nansha.
