Basketball Recap: Ardsley Now 11-2 over Last 13 Games

Ardsley had won two straight home games and Iva Corluka did her part to make it three on Monday. The Ardsley Panthers managed a 61-56 victory over the Clarkstown South Vikings thanks to Corluka, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 18 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Ardsley's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Bortstein, who went 6-for-13 on her way to 15 points. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Ardsley is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.2 points over those games. As for Clarkstown South, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
