Recap: Worthington Kilbourne Wolves vs. St. Francis DeSales Stallions
The Worthington Kilbourne Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 53-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Francis DeSales. Worthington Kilbourne has struggled against St. Francis DeSales recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Worthington Kilbourne's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Te'mar Lewis, who scored 15 points along with two steals. Aidan Gallogly was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with three steals and two blocks.
Worthington Kilbourne's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for St. Francis DeSales, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-5.
Worthington Kilbourne will head out on the road to face off against Canal Winchester at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Canal Winchester is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. St. Francis DeSales will take on Bishop Watterson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Watterson has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
