Soccer Recap: Casteel Takes Down Ranked Pinnacle

On Friday, Casteel faced Pinnacle in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Casteel Colts never let the Pinnacle Pioneers onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 back in December of 2024.

Kajun Skinner and Sydney Lewis scored both of Casteel's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 21 goals.

The win was the third in a row for Casteel, bringing their record for this year to 10-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Pinnacle, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4-1.

Casteel didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Highland on the 4th. Pinnacle has also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Notre Dame Prep on the 4th.
