Softball Recap: Hendrickson Comes Up Short

Hendrickson and Angleton squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Hendrickson had to settle for second. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 14-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on Thursday.

Hendrickson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zoey Kellam, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Hendrickson and nudges their season record down to 17-13-1. As for Angleton, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 21-3.

As of now, neither Hendrickson nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
