After a string of four wins, Simeon's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Solorio Sun Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolverines of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-6.

Simeon's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Solorio, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Looking ahead, Simeon will face off against Back of the Yards College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Solorio, they will take on Tilden at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
