Upper Merion Area hasn't had much luck against Phoenixville recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. Upper Merion Area is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game dating back to last season last Saturday. One positive for the Vikings, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Phoenixville has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-52 heartbreaker at the hands of State College. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Phantoms have suffered since December 23, 2023.

Upper Merion Area's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Phoenixville, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3.
