Soccer Game Preview: University Lab vs. E.D. White

The University Lab Cubs will challenge the E.D. White Cardinals on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

University Lab is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They never let Ursuline Academy get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. The result kept University Lab happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 20, 2025.

Meanwhile, E.D. White had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They blew past the Crescents 3-0. Give E.D. White's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

E.D. White's victory bumped their record up to 13-6-5. As for University Lab, their win bumped their record up to 14-2-4.

University Lab skirted past E.D. White 3-2 in their previous meeting back in February of 2025. Do the Cubs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cardinals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
