Softball Recap: McLane Takes a Loss

McLane fell victim to Madera and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Coyotes, falling 10-0. The Highlanders just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

McLane's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for Madera, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

McLane will take on Dinuba at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Emperors will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Highlanders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Madera, they will be taking part in a tournament against Clovis at 9:00 a.m. on Monday. The Coyotes are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
