Whiting extends road losing streak to ten

Recap: Whiting Warriors vs. Parkview Christian Patriots

The Whiting Warriors suffered their biggest loss since December 4, 2023 on Monday. They had to suffer through a rough 79-14 loss at the hands of Parkview Christian. Whiting was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-8.

Terance Pittman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Parkview Christian, scoring 31 points along with seven steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Pittman has scored at least a third of Parkview Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tairren Scott, who scored 11 points along with four steals.

Whiting dropped their record down to 1-11 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 15.6 points per game. As for Parkview Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Whiting will look to defend their home court on Monday against Hamburg at 7:30 p.m. Hamburg comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Parkview Christian, they will take on Cornerstone Christian School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cornerstone Christian School has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
