Basketball Recap: Genesis Prep Academy Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Genesis Prep Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 52-45 to the Asotin Panthers on Monday.

The win was the third in a row for Asotin, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Genesis Prep Academy will face off against Kootenai at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Asotin, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Garfield-Palouse at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
