Basketball Recap: Landon Comes Up Short

Landon lost against Georgetown Prep back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Landon Bears took a 69-55 bruising from the Georgetown Prep Little Hoyas.

Landon now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Georgetown Prep, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

Looking ahead, Landon won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bullis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bullis knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Landon likes a good challenge. As for Georgetown Prep, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against St. Stephen's & St. Agnes at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Stephen's & St. Agnes is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 67.3 points per game this season.
