After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Oldham, Collins was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Carroll County Panthers an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Collins, who have now won six matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

They hit Carroll County with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Presley Smith (3), Ady Weber (2), Hannah Hogg (2), and Maddie Gilbert.

Collins is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 48 goals over those nine contests. As for Carroll County, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-6-1.
