Scappoose came tearing into Monday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the St. Helens Lions. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 10-0 victory on Friday.

Scappoose's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4.
