Basketball Recap: Kempsville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Bayside last Tuesday, Kempsville came back down to earth. The Kempsville Chiefs were outmatched by the Green Run Stallions and fell 71-25. The loss continues a trend for the Chiefs in their matchups with the Stallions: they've now lost three in a row.

Kempsville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Green Run, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Kempsville and Landstown will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Green Run will take on Salem in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Salem will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Green Run surely won't give up without a fight.
