Baseball Game Preview: King Jaguars vs. Juarez Eagles

The King Jaguars will square off against the Juarez Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for King and seven for Juarez.

On Monday, King came up short against Bogan and fell 14-11.

Antwon King and Jhanius Walls stepped up to the plate in a big way. King went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI, while Walls went 1-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base. King is becoming a predictor of King's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 2-1 (and 1-6 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Roma, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, Juarez didn't have quite enough to beat South Shore International on Saturday and fell 8-7. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one run.

Juarez's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for King, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
