Softball Recap: Napoleon Comes Up Short

After flying high against Whitmer on Tuesday, Napoleon came back down to earth. The Wildcats fell just short of the Bowling Green Bobcats by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bobcats earlier this season, when they won 6-2.

Napoleon saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carmen Rupp, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one run. Addy Thompson Jr) was another, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Napoleon now has a losing record of 9-10-1. As for Bowling Green, their record is now 6-11.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Napoleon is set to square off against their familiar foe Southview at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bowling Green will challenge rival Springfield at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
