Basketball Game Preview: NorthPoint Christian Academy NightHawks vs. Lee Park Prep Knights

NorthPoint Christian Academy is 0-8 against Lee Park Prep since November of 2022 but things could change on Thursday. The NightHawks will challenge the Knights at 7:00 p.m. NorthPoint Christian Academy has given up an average of 69.5 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 75-40, which was the final score in NorthPoint Christian Academy's tilt against Metrolina Christian Academy two weeks ago.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Daniel Osterberg, who posted 12 points. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.8% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Alvis, who put up ten points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Lee Park Prep came up short against Hickory Grove Christian on Tuesday and fell 47-40. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost three in a row.

Lee Park Prep now has a losing record of 2-3. As for NorthPoint Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

NorthPoint Christian Academy might still be hurting after the 65-40 loss they got from Lee Park Prep in their previous meeting back in February. Can the NightHawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
