Baseball Game Preview: Jackson Aggies vs. W.S. Neal Eagles

For the second straight game, Jackson will face off against W.S. Neal. The Aggies will welcome the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jackson is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 12 runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against W.S. Neal on Thursday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 12-1. The Aggies have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

For W.S. Neal's part, the team relied heavily on Eli Stone, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Stone has become a key player for the Eagles: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-5 otherwise. Ja'sean Jones was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

W.S. Neal was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .481. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.

The victory was the third in a row for W.S. Neal, bringing their record up to 12-5.
