Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hammond). They strolled past the Oakland Mills Scorpions with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 72-54. The win was some much needed relief for the Golden Bears as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Hammond's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Oakland Mills, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hammond has already played their next game (against Reservoir), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Oakland Mills will host Mt. Hebron at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
