Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bell). They put the hurt on the Huntington Park Spartans with a sharp 19-9 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Bell now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Huntington Park, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Bell will square off against Lincoln at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Bell's pitchers better be ready for this one: Lincoln has averaged an impressive 10.2 runs per game this season. As for Huntington Park, they will head out to take on Garfield at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
