It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Post Falls ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Sandpoint Bulldogs 8-7. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Bulldogs on Saturday, they had to take a 8-3 loss.

The win got Post Falls back to even at 4-4. As for Sandpoint, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Post Falls will host Coeur d'Alene at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Sandpoint, they will take on Lake City at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last five games the Timberwolves have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
