            For the second straight game, Diboll will face off against Orangefield. The Lumberjacks will face off against the Bobcats at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Diboll's pitching crew has only allowed four  runs per game  this season, so Orangefield's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Diboll heads in on the heels of a playoff  game on Thursday. They took  a  3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Orangefield. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Lumberjacks haven't been shut out since  back in March.
For Orangefield's part,  not much got past  Carson Gonzales, who gave up just  a  hit and racked up 11 Ks to keep Diboll off the board. Gonzales has been consistent for a while: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in nine consecutive appearances.
 At the plate, Orangefield saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Rylan Agerton, who  went 1-for-3 with one  stolen base and two  RBI. Another  was  Layne Reynolds, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  doubles.
 Orangefield has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 22-6 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Diboll, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-8-1.
