Softball Game Preview: Slidell Tigers vs. Northshore Panthers

Slidell hasn't had much luck against Northshore recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Tigers will face off against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Slidell's win against Chalmette wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Owls 6-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Northshore had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Fontainebleau 18-2 on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their one-run performance the match before.

Slidell's record is now 8-11. As for Northshore, they now have a winning record of 14-13.
