Basketball Game Preview: Open Door Christian Patriots vs. Steele Comets

Having just played yesterday, the Open Door Christian Patriots will get right back to it and host the Steele Comets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Open Door Christian has six straight victories, Steele has 12 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Monday, Open Door Christian strolled past Andrews Osborne Academy with points to spare, taking the game 42-26.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 64-27, which was the final score in Steele's tilt against Berea-Midpark on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 636th, while the Titans are ranked 173rd).

Steele's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Open Door Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season.
