Baseball Recap: Roland-Story Now 11-2 over Last 13 Games

Roland-Story never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Garner-Hayfield/Ventura Cardinals. Considering the Norsemen have won 14 contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Roland-Story has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Garner-Hayfield/Ventura, they dropped their record down to 13-10 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Roland-Story will take on Van Meter on Saturday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Norsemen surely won't give up without a fight. Garner-Hayfield/Ventura does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
