Soccer Game Preview: Lee's Summit North vs. Saint Thomas Aquinas

The Lee's Summit North Broncos will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge the Saint Thomas Aquinas Saints at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Lee's Summit North is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

Lee's Summit North proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by four) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over Staley.

Meanwhile, Saint Thomas Aquinas had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Blue Valley North on Thursday.

Lee's Summit North pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Saint Thomas Aquinas, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Lee's Summit North might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Saint Thomas Aquinas when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can Lee's Summit North avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
