Baseball Recap: Boonsboro Takes a Loss

Boonsboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 4-1 to the Williamsport Wildcats. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 4-2.

Boonsboro saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haiden Slough, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Russell Colliere was another, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one double.

Boonsboro's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Williamsport, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Boonsboro will face off against rival Catoctin at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Williamsport is set to square off against their familiar foe Walkersville on Friday.
